Management Trainee

The Management Trainee position in Bonchon offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop the skills necessary for a successful career in restaurant management. As a Management Trainee, you will work closely with our restaurant management team, learning the ins and outs of operations, customer service, staff management, and administrative tasks. Responsibilities:

  1. Operational Support:
    • Assist in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
    • Learn and understand all aspects of front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
    • Collaborate with management to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
    • Help in maintaining high-quality standards for food preparation, presentation, and service.
  2. Customer Service:
    • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure guest satisfaction.
    • Interact with customers, addressing their concerns and resolving any issues promptly.
    • Learn to handle customer feedback and implement necessary improvements.
  3. Staff Management:
    • Assist in recruiting, training, and supervising restaurant staff.
    • Work alongside the management team to create employee schedules.
    • Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork and a strong work ethic.
    • Provide guidance and support to team members, leading by example.
  4. Administrative Tasks:
    • Learn to manage inventory levels, monitor stock, and place orders as needed.
    • Assist in tracking sales, analyzing performance data, and generating reports.
    • Participate in financial management activities, such as cash handling and POS operations.
    • Gain familiarity with administrative processes, including payroll and employee documentation.
  5. Training and Development:
    • Complete the assigned training modules and programs.
    • Attend management meetings, training sessions, and workshops as required.
    • Seek opportunities for continuous learning and skill development.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent (a bachelor’s degree in hospitality or a related field is a plus).
  • Previous experience in the food service industry or customer service is desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and a passion for the restaurant industry.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
